No advisor in the middle, no auction premium, no commission on the sale.
Most of the art market is invisible to anyone not already inside it. Prices are private. Sellers are masked. Conversations go through intermediaries who take a margin for the privilege. Bypart removes all of that. You see what is for sale, what it costs, and how to reach the person who owns it.
Bypart listings lead with the artwork itself. Title, artist, year, medium, dimensions, edition information, condition. Provenance where the seller chooses to share it. A price bucket that tells you the range before you commit. Everything you need to decide whether the work is worth a closer look.
When a work interests you, one Connect credit unlocks the seller's identity and the exact asking price. The unlock is permanent for that conversation; the price you saw at the moment of unlock is locked into your thread for reference, even if the seller later updates their listing. The seller is notified the moment you unlock. They know to expect you.
Once you unlock a listing, the conversation is between you and the seller. Bypart is not party to it. Ask for more images, condition reports, exhibition history, provenance documentation. Negotiate. Agree on logistics, payment, shipping, insurance. The platform is not in the middle of any of it.
Unused credits expire at the end of each month. Tiers can be changed at any time.
The chain is the cost. Removing it is the product.
