Bypart is a platform for connecting buyers and sellers of fine art. We are not party to the transactions that result from those connections. We do not warrant the authenticity, condition, provenance, or value of any work listed. We do not guarantee that any listing will result in a sale. We require all users to verify their phone number and to act in good faith.
Users are responsible for their own due diligence on works, sellers, and buyers. Users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws, including tax obligations on any sale concluded through the platform.
Bypart reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use policy, including but not limited to misrepresentation of works or identity, harassment, off-platform circumvention of subscription terms, or use of the platform for the sale of stolen, looted, or fraudulent works.
We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the service: phone number for verification, payment information held by Apple (not by us), and the content of listings and conversations within the app. We do not sell user data. We do not run advertising. We do not share data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Apple for billing, Twilio for phone verification, Supabase for hosting) and as required by law.
